Research Interests

My research interest focuses on the integration of remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and data mining techniques for understanding complex spatial/temporal data sets. Other areas of interest include regional/global monitoring and modeling using remotely-sensed imagery and development of image classification and pattern recognition algorithms with particular emphasis on mixed pixel problems and large database issues.
