Session (Fall and Spring Semester)
Regular session courses are held as part of the SFSU's standard academic year either during Fall Semester (end of August through mid-December) and Spring (end of January through May).

Summer Session
RTC's summer session short courses for the general public are offered through SFSU's College of Extended Learning. They cover a variety of marine science topics, and change from year to year. Courses run from one day to a week in duration.
