The Romberg Tiburon Center has a Maintenance and Science Support Facility where all RTC maintenance operations are coordinated and conducted. The combination wood and machine shop houses equipment such as a table saw, planer, shaper, jointer, miter and radial arm saws, band saw, drill presses, metal lathe, and a milling machine. The welding shop has equipment to weld and form steel, as well as stainless steel and aluminum projects.

The School of Science Service Center on the main campus has an electronics shop; a machine shop (milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and sheet metal forming equipment) and a graphics service shop, which are all available to RTC scientists.
