Regular session courses are held as part of the SFSU's standard academic year either during Fall Semester (end of August through mid-December) and Spring (end of January through May).

Summer Session

Summer session courses allow newly admitted and continuing SFSU students to take degree classes in the summer. Typically, these courses require more classroom time per week than regular session courses. Summer session courses are completed in 5 to 8 weeks instead of the usual 11 weeks.
