Ohrenschall Guest House

 

The Ohrenschall Guest House, opened in 2001, provides short-term overnight lodging in a beautiful renovated Victorian-era home for  visiting researchers and students working at the Center. Located on the Tiburon Peninsula overlooking San Francisco Bay, it is only 20 miles from San Francisco, with easy access to Highway 101 from San Francisco and Marin County.

The Guest House has two beautiful sitting rooms, a dining room, and a kitchen available for use by all our guests, including our two student caretakers. We have six guest bedrooms, three with private bathrooms and three with shared bathrooms. All bathrooms are equipped with showers. On the first floor, there is one bedroom with a private bath, accessible for guests with disabilities. Please indicate need for this room at time of booking.

Guest service features: bed linens, towels, fully equipped shared kitchen, wireless internet access and free parking. We also have two live-in student caretakers who help with orienting and hosting guests.
